Sweet Bonanza Ante Bet, Buy and Multiplier Bombs: What a ₱10 Spin Really Buys
Published — UTC

Short answer: In Pragmatic Play’s Sweet Bonanza, the optional Ante Bet raises the cost of every spin by 25% (₱10 becomes ₱12.50) in exchange for a higher chance of landing scatters; the provider’s published RTP range is only 96.49% to 96.6%, so Ante changes how fast you spend and how often the bonus can start, not the long-run return in any meaningful way. Buying the Free Spins costs 100 times the bet (₱1,000 at a ₱10 stake). Inside the bonus, multiplier bombs from 2x to 100x are added together and then applied to the win of that tumble sequence. Most base-game “wins” are small: in the official pay table, an 8–9 symbol hit on five of the nine regular symbols returns less than or exactly the stake.
This guide reads the numbers Pragmatic Play publishes, converts them into peso amounts and checks them against a labelled sample from the provider’s free demo server. Peso figures are a hypothetical ₱10 stake used for illustration; the demo plays in demo currency. Sources were checked on 15 October 2026. Where we calculated something ourselves we say so, and where a figure could not be confirmed from an official source it is marked unverified.
The official figures and where each one comes from

The numbers below come from Pragmatic Play’s Sweet Bonanza page on pragmaticplay.com, the provider’s game data page on pragmaticplay.fun, and the game information returned when the title opens on Pragmatic Play’s official demo server (game code vs20fruitsw). The RTP range and the Ante wording are from a copy of the Pragmatic Play game rules hosted by a casino operator, so treat that document as the operator’s version of the rules.

| Bonus Buy | 100x the bet for 10 Free Spins | pragmaticplay.fun, demo server (2,000 coins at 20 lines) |
| Free Spins trigger | 4, 5 or 6 scatters anywhere: 10 Free Spins plus a scatter payout of 3x, 5x or 100x | Game page, demo pay table |
| Multiplier bombs | Free Spins only, values 2x to 100x; demo server list: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 50, 100 | Game page, demo server |
Why three RTP numbers? The pragmaticplay.com page shows 96.48%, the pragmaticplay.fun page and the demo server show 96.49%, and the demo server also lists a second value of 96.60%. The rules copy states a minimum of 96.49% and a maximum of 96.6% but does not say which game mode carries which figure. The gap is about a tenth of a percentage point, so it changes nothing you would notice in a session, but you should not assume Ante is the higher-RTP mode: which mode carries 96.6% is unverified. Casinos can also run versions configured by the provider at a different RTP, so the figure in the game’s own information screen at your casino is the one that applies to you.
The pay table in multiples of your bet
The demo server lists pays in coins for 20 bet lines; dividing by 20 gives multiples of the total bet. The pay table has no symbol names, so the nine regular symbols are shown as Tier 1 (highest) to Tier 9 (lowest). The peso column assumes a ₱10 bet and is only there to make the multiples concrete (hypothetical example).
| Symbol | 8–9 symbols | 10–11 symbols | 12+ symbols | 12+ at a ₱10 bet |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tier 1 | 10x | 25x | 50x | ₱500 |
| Tier 2 | 2.5x | 10x | 25x | ₱250 |
| Tier 3 | 2x | 5x | 15x | ₱150 |
| Tier 4 | 1.5x | 2x | 12x | ₱120 |
| Tier 5 | 1x | 1.5x | 10x | ₱100 |
| Tier 6 | 0.8x | 1.2x | 8x | ₱80 |
| Tier 7 | 0.5x | 1x | 5x | ₱50 |
| Tier 8 | 0.4x | 0.9x | 4x | ₱40 |
| Tier 9 | 0.25x | 0.75x | 2x | ₱20 |
| Scatter | 4 = 3x, 5 = 5x, 6 or more = 100x (plus 10 Free Spins) | ₱30 / ₱50 / ₱1,000 | ||

Three things stand out (our reading of the table):
- A “win” is often a partial refund. An 8–9 symbol hit on Tiers 6 to 9 pays 0.25x to 0.8x: ₱2.50 to ₱8 back on a ₱10 spin. The game shows a win animation, but the balance still goes down.
- The real step up is at 12 symbols. Going from 10–11 to 12+ symbols multiplies the pay by about three to seven times depending on the tier (Tier 9: 0.75x to 2x; Tier 5: 1.5x to 10x). Tumbles help build those counts, because winning symbols disappear and new ones fall in.
- Six scatters are worth as much as the Buy price. Landing 6 or more scatters pays 100x on top of the 10 Free Spins, the same amount the Bonus Buy charges.
How the multiplier bombs work, with a real example
According to the game page, multiplier symbols only land during Free Spins, and at the end of a tumble sequence the values of all multipliers on screen are added together and applied to that sequence’s total win. They are not multiplied by each other, which is why three moderate bombs produce a moderate result rather than an enormous one.
Our demo log contains a clean case. During one Free Spin (Ante mode), a tumble sequence won 2.10 demo units in total, and three bombs of 8x, 4x and 6x were on the screen. The server credited 37.80: (8 + 4 + 6) × 2.10 = 18 × 2.10 = 37.80. Scaled to a ₱10 bet (the demo bet was 2.00), the sequence won ₱10.50 before multipliers and ₱189 after. Had the same three values been multiplied together (8 × 4 × 6 = 192x), the sequence would have paid ₱2,016, so the “added together” rule matters a great deal when you read big-win claims.
| Bombs on screen | Total multiplier (added) | Sequence win before | Paid at a ₱10 bet |
|---|---|---|---|
| 8x, 4x, 6x (from the demo log) | 18x | ₱10.50 | ₱189 |
| 2x only | 2x | ₱10.50 | ₱21 |
| 50x and 25x | 75x | ₱10.50 | ₱787.50 |
| No bomb in that sequence | none | ₱10.50 | ₱10.50 |
The last three rows are hypothetical examples built from the published values. The provider does not publish how often each bomb value lands, so we cannot calculate how often a 50x or 100x appears; in our sample the values that appeared ranged from 2x to 50x and no 100x was seen.
Ante Bet versus normal spins: what changes in pesos
The rules copy describes Ante as raising the bet multiplier by 25% (from 20 to 25 bet lines) and says that the chance of hitting scatter symbols increases. It does not give the new trigger rate, and we found no official figure for it, so any “doubles your chance” claim is unverified on the evidence we could access. What we can calculate is the cost side.
| Mode | Cost per spin | Spent over 500 spins | Theoretical loss over 500 spins |
|---|---|---|---|
| Normal | ₱10.00 | ₱5,000 | ₱175.50 (at 96.49%) |
| Ante Bet | ₱12.50 | ₱6,250 | ₱212.50 to ₱219.38 (at 96.6% or 96.49%) |
Our calculation: theoretical loss = amount staked × (1 − RTP). Whichever RTP applies to Ante, it costs about ₱37 to ₱44 more over 500 spins than normal play at the same base bet, because you are staking 25% more for the same pay table. The trade is therefore not “better value”: it is more money per spin in return for more frequent bonus attempts. Theoretical loss is a long-run average; any single session can end far above or below it.
Buying the bonus: ₱1,000 for 10 Free Spins
At a ₱10 bet, the Bonus Buy costs ₱1,000, the same as 100 normal spins or 80 Ante spins. The demo server confirms the price (2,000 coins at 20 lines, 10 Free Spins). We did not find an official RTP for the bought bonus, so we cannot say whether buying is better or worse value than spinning for it; that point is unverified. What is certain is the variance: the whole ₱1,000 is committed in one decision, and the return depends on how many bombs land. In our four naturally triggered bonuses (below), the rounds paid between 13.55x and 81.75x the base bet including the triggering spin, all below the 100x Buy price, which shows how easily a bought bonus can return less than it cost. Four rounds prove nothing about the average.
playtime’s demo sample: 699 normal and 705 Ante spins
On 15 October 2026 we sent spins to Pragmatic Play’s official demo server at 0.10 per line (2.00 demo units per normal spin, 2.50 with Ante), recorded every server response and reconciled each run against the final demo balance. This is demo currency with no real money involved. A sample of this size cannot measure RTP or trigger rates; it shows what sessions of a few hundred spins can look like.
| Result per spin (multiples of the 2.00 base bet) | Normal (699 spins) | Ante (705 spins) |
|---|---|---|
| No win | 404 | 411 |
| Win below 1x | 148 | 153 |
| 1x to 5x | 124 | 121 |
| 5x to 20x (incl. Free Spins rounds of 13.55x and 17.65x in normal mode) | 23 | 18 |
| 20x to 100x (Ante Free Spins rounds of 81.75x and 81.7x) | 0 | 2 |
| Spins with any win | 295 (42.2%) | 294 (41.7%) |
| Free Spins triggered | 2 | 2 |
| Longest run without a win | 11 spins | 11 spins |
| Returned / staked | 73.3% | 74.4% |
- Hit rate. Both runs landed near 42%, below the 50% listed on pragmaticplay.fun. With roughly 700 spins the standard error is about 2 percentage points, so an 8-point gap is about four standard errors, larger than chance alone would usually produce (our calculation). We cannot tell whether the listed figure is rounded, defined differently (for example counting scatter landings or tumbles) or measured on another configuration, so we report both rather than choose one.
- Small wins dominate. Half of all winning spins in each run (148 of 295 and 153 of 294) paid less than the base bet.
- Ante did not show more bonuses here. Each run triggered Free Spins twice. Two events per run is far too few to compare trigger rates, so this neither confirms nor contradicts the rules’ statement that Ante raises the scatter chance.
- Both runs lost money, at 73.3% and 74.4% returned. That is what a high-volatility game usually looks like over a few hundred spins without a large bonus, and it is not evidence about the 96.49% RTP.
What is verified, calculated and unverified
- Verified from official or provider sources: 6×5 pay-anywhere grid with 8+ symbols, release date, RTP figures as listed by each source, listed 50% hit frequency, 21,175x maximum win, 0.20–240 bet range, Ante at 25% extra with higher scatter chance, Bonus Buy at 100x for 10 Free Spins, scatter pays 3x/5x/100x, multiplier values 2x–100x added together, coin pay table.
- playtime’s calculations: pay table in bet multiples and the chart, peso conversions, added-versus-multiplied comparison, Ante cost and theoretical-loss table, Buy cost comparison, demo sample analysis.
- Hypothetical examples: every peso amount based on a ₱10 bet; the bomb combinations other than the one taken from the demo log.
- Unverified: which game mode carries the 96.6% RTP, the size of Ante’s scatter boost, the Bonus Buy RTP, how often each multiplier value lands, symbol names for each tier, and the RTP version used by any particular casino.
Before you play
Every spin is random, and none of the averages or probabilities above predicts the next one. Do not raise your bet or switch on Ante to “chase” a bonus, treat Bonus Buy as money you can afford to lose in a single decision, and set your budget and stopping time before you start. Online gambling in the Philippines is for adults aged 21 and over, subject to the rules of the platform and the authorities that regulate it.
