Bonus buy on Pragmatic Play slots: what the official pages say it costs, and what ₱1,000 per buy really buys

Short answer — Only 18 of the 642 Pragmatic Play game pages with an RTP that we read describe a bonus buy. Where a price is given, it is usually 100x the bet: ten games, or ₱1,000 per buy on a ₱10 stake. Three pages list other prices: Pot of Fortune at 80x, The Wild Gang at 80x or 200x depending on the free-spins type, and Wild West Gold Blazing Bounty’s “Super Free Spins” at 500x in select markets, which is ₱5,000 on a ₱10 stake. Five pages mention a buy without stating its price. The pages do not publish a separate RTP for buying, so the official figures cannot tell you whether a buy returns more or less than spinning normally. We checked on 19 October 2026.
A bonus buy skips the wait for scatters and puts a large stake on a single feature. This guide lists what the official pages say, then works through what that means for your budget.

*Our calculation. “Select markets” is the page’s own wording: whether a buy is offered depends on where you play and on the operator.

What ₱1,000 per buy means
A 100x buy costs the same as 100 normal spins at the same stake. The difference is that the whole amount goes on one bonus round. Results from a single bonus round vary enormously. Some pay back a small part of the price, and some pay many times it.
Here is an illustrative example, and it rests on an assumption. If a buy returned the same 96.50% as the base game, the expected long-run cost of one ₱1,000 buy would be ₱35, by our calculation, the same as 100 spins of ₱10. The official pages do not confirm that the buy RTP equals the game RTP. Some games show a different figure for the buy feature in the in-game rules, so check there.
Why buys burn through a budget faster
- Bigger single stakes: a ₱5,000 budget is five ₱1,000 buys, against 500 normal spins at ₱10.
- Fewer chances to stop: each buy is settled in one go, so there are fewer natural points to decide to stop.
- Same maths, faster pace: even at the same RTP, putting more money through the game per hour raises the expected cost per hour.
If you use a bonus buy
- Confirm the price in the game. It is shown as a multiple of your current bet, so lowering the bet lowers the price.
- Look for the buy feature’s RTP in the game rules, if shown.
- Decide in advance how many buys, if any, fit your budget, and stop there.
- Remember that buying does not change the odds of a big win in the bonus. It only pays to skip the wait.
